“Fill the Boot” drive for MDA during the 2017 Patriots Day Parade, Arlington MA
The Arlington Firefighters Association is the Local bargaining unit of the International Association of Firefighters. We are Local 1297. We represent over 75 uniformed members of the Arlington Fire Department.
We actively participate in raising money for MDA by way of “Fill the Boot” drives that take place during the annual Patriots Day Parade and on the occasional busy intersection in town.
Our members also participate in the annual Fire vs. Police Hockey Game that raises money for other local charities.
